For all member in our parish and parish cluster that need our prayers.

  Welcome to

 St. Ann’s Catholic Church

Eucharistic Adoration every Friday from 9:30-6:30.

Father, The image of the Virgin is found in your Church. Mary had a faith that your Spirit prepared and a love that  never knew sin, for you kept her sinless from the first moment of her conception. Trace in our actions the lines of her love, in our hearts her readiness of faith. Prepare once again a world for your Son who lives and reigns with your and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

 Prayer for Peace in Iraq

The plight of our country
is deep and the suffering of Christians
is severe and frightening.
Therefore, we ask you Lord
to spare our lives, and to grant us patience,
and courage to continue our witness of Christian values
with trust and hope.
Lord, peace is the foundation of life;
Grant us the peace and stability that will enable us
to live with each other without fear and anxiety,
and with dignity and joy.
Glory be to you forever.

We thank you for worshipping with us today; we hope you will return often.

Next weekend our parish will take up the 131st annual National Black and Indian Mission Collection.  Our support of this collection helps build the church in African American, Native American, and Alaska Native communities from coast to coast.  Schools, parish religious education programs, and diocesan ministries depend on your generosity to help them spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Envelope attached.

The First Community Lenten Service will be held at St. Ann’s next Sunday Evening at 7:00 PM. Feb. 22.   Rev. Marcy Dawson will be giving the message.

Please plan on attending these services during Lent

Sacred Journey of Lent Begins with Ash Wednesday on Feb 18.

Let us prepare for the season of Lent by thinking of all the opportunities we can walk with Jesus.  Through prayer, you can deepen your relationship with Jesus and get in touch with the “sacred” on a daily basis.  Through fasting, you can strengthen your body and will to carry your crosses with faith and grace.  Through almsgiving, you can “see God in others” and “go forth” to serve them.

Ash Wednesday Mass will be Feb 18 - 5:15 PM at St. Ann’s

                                                               7:00 PM at Sacred Heart

Stations of the Cross:  Each Tuesday at 6:30

URENT PRAYER REQUEST!!! Friends, please pray for  Michelle Duppong. We found out unexpectedly on Dec 29 that she has stage 4 colon cancer & are not sur...e how much time she has. As you can imagine, this is a difficult thing for everyone to grasp right now, but now more than ever, we want to ask everyone to pray...regardless of your beliefs. Please pray for the gift of faith & that a miracle would be granted if that be God's will. Specifically, Michelle is asking you & me to pray through the intercession of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati ( a young man who lived an extraordinary & holy life & the Church is awaiting a 2nd miracle that can be attributed to his intercession from heaven before he is canonized a saint) for her healing. A novena can be found at the site below as well as a prayer for his canonization. Thank you all for your love & prayers. We know that Emmanuel is with us, especially in such a blessed time of the year. Please share this news with as many others as you can so we can truly be united as a family in prayer. The family that prays together, stays together. God bless you all.

Prayer for the Protection of Religious Liberty

O God our Creator,

Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit,
you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world,
bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel
to every corner of society.

We ask you to bless us
in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart
to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened;
give us courage in making our voices heard
on behalf of the rights of your Church
and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.

Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father,
a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters
gathered in your Church
in this decisive hour in the history of our nation,
so that, with every trial withstood
and every danger overcome—
for the sake of our children, our grandchildren,
and all who come after us—
this great land will always be "one nation, under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
